Drawing is fundamental to all artwork. Any artist must know how to draw before he goes on to do anything else, in any other medium. If I could choose only one medium to work with for the rest of my life, it would be a simple graphite pencil.

Watercolor
Watercolor is like a cat. It has a mind of it's own. Once you get some idea about what it's going to do for you, you'll discover what a delight it can be to work with.
Acrylics
I was anxious to work with oil paint as a freshman at college. My first year painting professor scolded me and told me oil paint was "old fashioned", that I should be using acrylics. I have not used oil since.
